The aim of this evidence was to provide a question and question the value of such through different perspectives. Particularly this evidence is one of the perspectives presented in the TOK presentation that focused on the sexual assault cases within the Catholic Church and the sense of belonging.

How does this piece of evidence show the chosen IB Learner Profile Characteristic?
I consider that this evidence illustrates the IB learner profile characteristic of inquirers as it showcases a natural curiosity towards the topic chosen. This evidence demonstrates investigation as well as critical thinking, combined with curiosity as to how our topic is handled and the mostly how it is focused.
Which challenges did I face when developing this particular evidence?
Understanding our topic from a TOK perspective was a challenge of it's own. Moreover, finding evidence from different perspectives such as the Church and the media and comparing as well as integrating and connecting it to our knowledge question and a tok term, making a claim that would make sense and we would be able to comprehend and explain was challenging. Basically all of the presentation was challenging, but specifically tis piece of evidence was challenging due to how we constructed our knowledge claim, and therefore how we had to explain it.
Which feelings or memories do I remember while thinking about the evidence?
The feelings and memories I have from developing this piece of evidence consist of a lot of brainstorming and actually questioning a lot of things. I also remember that it was difficult to even understand our claims and the questions we were proposing, so there were a lot of discussion and frustration. However, once we got the hang of it, it was actually very interesting and impactful everything we found out about the topic and the way it was manipulated through language. Overall, it was hard to figure out a perspective from which we could approach the topic while still using TOK terms, we had long nights and bad headaches but at the end of the day I remember feeling proud and accomplished.
